According to the ministry’s statement, the total number of famine victims has risen to 348 deaths, including 127 children. Since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared a famine in Gaza on August 22, 2025, 70 deaths have been recorded, including 12 children.

In a separate statement, the Ministry of Health explained that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 98 dead and 404 injured during the last day due to continuous Israeli bombing, raising the total toll of the Israeli war on the Strip since October 7, 2023, to 63,557 dead and 160,660 injured.

Since the resumption of Israeli military operations in the Strip until March 18, 2025, the number of casualties reached 11,426 dead and 48,619 injured.

The ministry also indicated that the toll of so-called “Breadwinner Martyrs” rose to 2,294 dead and more than 16,839 injured, after recording 46 dead and 239 wounded in the last 24 hours due to targeting of humanitarian aid trucks and distribution centers.

On the ground, local sources reported two deaths and several injuries after Israeli aircraft targeted a group of citizens near the Shujaiya junction east of Gaza City, in addition to violent raids targeting homes in the Ardh Al-Shanti area north of the city, affecting the homes of the Al-Tali, Abu Karsh, Al-Kahlout, and Tafesh families.

In Khan Younis, 13 names of dead were recorded, including women and children, alongside unidentified victims.

The Palestinian Football Association announced the death of Louay Asteita, director of Gaza Sports Club, while trying to obtain humanitarian aid in the northern sector.

Amid these developments, Reporters Without Borders confirmed that journalists in Gaza are now completely trapped and unable to leave the Strip, amid ongoing deterioration in humanitarian and security conditions.
