The Anti-Concealment Program conducted 1,519 inspection visits across various regions during August, based on indicators and suspicion signs. The visits aimed to verify compliance of commercial establishments and to detect violations of the anti-concealment system. During these inspections, 73 suspected cases of concealment were recorded, and violators were referred to the competent authorities for verification and to apply deterrent penalties. Penalties under the anti-concealment system include imprisonment for up to five years, fines up to five million Saudi Riyals, and seizure and confiscation of illegal funds following final judicial rulings against the involved parties. Additional penalties include closure of the establishment, liquidation of activity, cancellation of commercial registration, prohibition from practicing commercial activity, collection of zakat, fees and taxes, public shaming, deportation of concealed individuals from the Kingdom, and banning their return to work in the country.
