The Muscat Stock Exchange index closed at 5,009.92 points, up 0.11% or 5.3 points from the last trading session at 5,004.65 points. Trading value rose by 18.8% to reach 39.9 million Omani rials compared to 33.6 million in the previous session. The market capitalization decreased slightly by 0.090% to approximately 29.75 billion Omani rials. Meanwhile, the Qatar Stock Exchange index closed down by 29.22 points, or 0.26%, at 11,293.42 points. The session saw trading of over 121.8 million shares worth 311.2 million Qatari rials across 13,997 deals in all sectors. The market capitalization at the end of the session was approximately 671.7 billion Qatari rials, down from 674.6 billion in the previous session. Last week, the Qatar index had dropped by 184.81 points or 1.61%, with trading volume of 135.8 million shares valued at 367.2 million Qatari rials across 23,870 deals.
