The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, in cooperation with Global Village, announced the placement of the Global Village logo for its 30th season on all visas issued by the Emirate of Dubai. Additionally, a special stamp bearing the Global Village logo will be applied to passports of visitors arriving in the country, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Global Village.
This announcement came during a meeting between His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and Zeina Dagher, Senior Vice President of Operations at Dubai Holding Entertainment – Global Village, along with Sarah Al Muhairi, Director of Marketing and Events.
Both parties also announced that entry to Global Village will be free for passport holders bearing the special 30th season Global Village stamp, for ten days from the opening date on October 15. The stamp will be placed alongside the entry stamp, allowing the holder to benefit from this offer once only.
This initiative reflects institutional integration between government entities and their partners in the public and private sectors, highlighting Dubai’s commitment to showcasing initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity and enhance its position as a bridge for civilizational communication among the peoples of the world.
The initiative aims to introduce millions of travelers arriving in Dubai to this landmark that brings together world cultures in a single experience, embodying the values upon which the Emirate’s identity is based: openness, tolerance, and humanity.
The initiative is part of Dubai Residency’s keenness to support national events and projects that highlight the bright face of the Emirate and enhance visitor experience from the moment they arrive at its entry points, aligning with the goals of Dubai Vision 2033 and its strategy to strengthen its position as a vibrant global destination combining culture, innovation, and quality of life.
