His Excellency Mr. Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Acting Minister of Legal Affairs and Labor, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to invest in its human capital as a cornerstone of development by enhancing human development and expanding empowerment opportunities for citizens. This approach ensures their active integration into the labor market and enables them to contribute to building a more competitive and sustainable national economy, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Minister praised the royal speech delivered by His Majesty during the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Council of Representatives, highlighting the important initiative announced by the Crown Prince targeting job seekers. The initiative includes necessary facilitation measures that open up more job options for citizens, enabling them to actively participate in building the nation’s future.

He explained that the Ministry of Labor continues to implement the Crown Prince’s directive to offer three job opportunities to every registered job seeker. Since the issuance of these directives, the Ministry has taken the necessary executive measures to achieve the desired goals.

To date, 7,888 interviews have been conducted with registered job seekers to facilitate their access to suitable job opportunities matching their qualifications and aspirations. The Ministry has also extended working hours until 7 PM to ensure the swift completion of the initiative and ease procedures for job seekers.

The Minister noted that the teams continue their efforts with the spirit of Team Bahrain to embody leadership directives and meet citizens’ aspirations for job stability and active participation in the labor market.

He also praised the constructive coordination with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and private sector institutions, explaining that this cooperation is a fundamental pillar supporting the Ministry’s efforts to provide the electronic employment exhibition with job opportunities that meet market needs and support the employment of national cadres, contributing to economic growth and sustainable development in Bahrain.
