The Ministry of Health and Population stated that the quadrivalent flu vaccine is available at Vaxira, protecting the body from the four most dangerous strains of influenza, including swine flu. The dose is half a milliliter administered fully in the shoulder starting from six months of age. Children aged six months to nine years require a repeated dose if they have not previously received two doses. There are no contraindications except for egg allergy and high fever. The Ministry advises elderly people, children, those with chronic diseases, and it is permitted for pregnant and breastfeeding women. The flu vaccine does not conflict with any other vaccinations.
