The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Sunday that a severe wave of influenza is affecting children in Gaza.
Gaza Health, in a post on its Facebook page today, stated that medical departments are overcrowded with patients, calling for the provision of necessary medications for this virus.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Farra, director of Al-Tahrir Hospital for Children and Maternity at Nasser Medical Complex, attributed the wide spread of the influenza virus this year to weakened immune systems in children due to lack of essential foods to combat it, such as onions, garlic, natural lemon juice, and natural vitamin C derivatives.
