The Ministry of Media, in partnership with the Communications, Space and Technology Authority, announced the holding of the 10th edition of ‘Media Oasis’ from August 31 to September 3, 2025, at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center in Riyadh, coinciding with the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR25). ‘Media Oasis’ is an integrated platform launched by the Ministry of Media to enhance the Kingdom’s media presence at major international forums and provide a professional environment aligned with the transformations under Vision 2030. The 10th edition will cover 4,000 square meters equipped with the latest technologies, hosting more than 2,500 local and international media professionals. Key areas include ‘Oasis Valley’ with live broadcast screens for the accompanying exhibition and opening ceremony, specialized media and technical services, ‘Oasis Exhibition’ showcasing transformative projects of Vision 2030 and RegTech innovations through interactive pavilions, and four studios for local and international TV channels.
Participants include government and private entities such as the Ministry of Sports, Asir Development Authority, Saudi Space Agency, National Commercial Bank, Mobily, and major national initiatives like NEOM and Saudi Spirit, alongside local and global telecom and technology companies. The Global Symposium for Regulators is a prominent annual international event hosted by Saudi Arabia in Riyadh in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) under the theme ‘Regulation for Sustainable Digital Development,’ attended by ministers, regulatory heads, policy developers, and private sector leaders from over 190 countries.
