Haitham Shaaban, the head coach of Tala’ea El Gaish, is closely analyzing Al Ahly Bank team by watching their recent matches, including their game against Zaeem Al Thoghr in the fourth round of the league, to identify strengths and weaknesses before facing them in the upcoming fifth round. Tala’ea El Gaish is scheduled to play Al Ahly Bank at 9 PM next Friday as part of the Egyptian Premier League’s fifth round. The team has had mixed results so far, including a draw with Smouha, a loss to Al Masry, and a win over Pharco. The squad for the new season includes players such as Omar Radwan, Moamen Mahmoud Abdel Aaty, Amr Tarek, and others.
The club strengthened its roster during the current summer transfer window by signing Togolese striker Ismail Ouro Agoro for two seasons, who previously played for Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic in the 2023-2024 season. Additionally, Tala’ea El Gaish signed Angolan Dilson Kamoni from ZED FC and Tunisian midfielder Houssem Ben Said Al-Sweisi from Union de Qirdan, both on two-year contracts. They also secured the loan of young player Mohamed Atef from Zamalek for one season. Departures include Yousri Wahid and Ahmed Meteb to Al Ahly Bank, Ahmed El Sheikh to Haras El Hodoud, and Ahmed Samir to Ceramica on a free transfer. The team held a closed training camp in Ismailia, featuring several friendly matches to boost players’ physical and technical readiness before the league’s start.
Tala’ea El Gaish finished the second half of last season with 25 points in the relegation avoidance group, ranking third with 29 points under Haitham Shaaban’s leadership.
