English football club Hull City faces legal challenges in qualifying its new Moroccan player, Reda Laalaoui, after the English Premier League rejected his participation due to a FIFA-imposed ban preventing the club from signing players for three registration periods. Hull City has taken a new and final step to qualify the former Fath Rabat player to represent the English club starting from the new football season. The club is preparing an alternative plan to temporarily loan Reda Laalaoui back to his former team, Fath, or another club until the end of the current season, awaiting resolution or lifting of the ban. Hull City awaits the final decision from the league today before taking the final step regarding the promising Moroccan player and another Colombian player signed from Bayer Leverkusen who faces the same situation.
Reda Laalaoui officially joined Hull City last June after participating with the Moroccan youth national team in the Africa U-20 Cup in Egypt. Despite his official signing, he remains banned from playing with his new team due to FIFA restrictions. Currently, the English club remains committed to his contract but seeks a legal way to retain his services until the situation is resolved.
