Nubia has officially confirmed the launch date for its new gaming phone, the “RedMagic 11 Pro,” expected to be one of the most ambitious designs yet.
The company released new teaser images showing glowing blue tubes wrapping around the phone, accompanied by a hashtag translating to the phone’s name and water cooling.
The phone is scheduled to be unveiled in China on October 17 at 2:30 PM local time, according to a report by the technology news site “Android Authority,” reviewed by Al Arabiya Business.
The post shared by the company on the “Weibo” platform via the official “RedMagic” account hints at a new cooling system that far surpasses what is found in most current Android phones.
The hashtag suggests that water cooling will be the unique feature, with promotional images showing white and black versions alongside a transparent edition that appears to reveal visible tubes through the phone’s back panel.
RedMagic, a sub-brand of Nubia, has long been a prominent name in smartphone heat management, using components like vapor chambers to maintain stable performance during long gaming sessions.
Adopting a liquid cooling system will certainly be a new qualitative leap in this field.
The teaser did not confirm any additional specifications, but the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s new “Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5” processor.
RedMagic phones are usually among the first to adopt Qualcomm’s advanced chips, always integrating them with powerful cooling systems specially designed for professional users and mobile gaming enthusiasts.
