UN Secretary-General António Guterres strongly condemned the killing of Palestinians in Israeli raids and called for an immediate and impartial investigation. British Foreign Secretary David Lammy expressed shock over the bombing, emphasizing the need to protect civilians, healthcare workers, and journalists, and called for an immediate ceasefire. The Israeli military acknowledged striking the hospital area and announced that Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir ordered an investigation.
French President Emmanuel Macron described the airstrikes as “unbearable.” The German Foreign Ministry expressed shock at the deaths of journalists, emergency personnel, and civilians, demanding an investigation into the attack.
