The Saudi Arabia U-20 national team lost 1-0 to Colombia in Group F of the 2025 Chile U-20 World Cup, with the only goal scored by Oscar Peria taking advantage of a defensive mistake, as the “Young Green” exited narrowly defeated.

In Group E, France started their tournament campaign with a valuable 2-1 victory over South Africa thanks to a late goal by Lucas Michel in the 80th minute. France had initially taken the lead through Anthony Bermon before Jody Ashini equalized from a penalty kick, but the “Les Bleus” determination sealed the match in the end.
