In the second half, substitute Taha Hebron scored the eighth goal before Wabi Simani scored a historic first-ever goal for New Caledonia in the finals, but Cole Campbell concluded the goal festival.
Norway also secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nigeria via a penalty kick, earning valuable three points as they started their tournament journey.
