The Cairo International Film Festival announced the lineup of films for the international competition in its 46th edition, scheduled from November 12 to 21, 2025.

This announcement was made during the festival’s press conference held on Sunday afternoon to reveal festival details.

The international competition currently includes 12 films:

The Cairo International Film Festival is one of the oldest festivals in the Arab world and Africa, and the only one in the region to hold the “Category A” accreditation from the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in Paris. The festival was founded in 1976 and is held annually under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.
