Why have Algerian officials not opened the file on the Algerian community in France for study at the government and parliamentary levels, including both chambers, political parties, and civil society associations, involving representatives of Algerian communities in Europe and mass organizations such as youth, workers, women, and farmers unions? Why has the Algerian presidency not reversed the decision to bar all Algerian migrants with dual nationality from their national right to access senior positions in their original homeland, Algeria? It seems clear that the dialogue conducted last Monday by the private Algerian newspaper “Echorouk El Yawmi” with Rafik Temghari, Vice President of the “Prince Abdelkader Circle” founded in France, avoided delving into such issues and other real reasons that deprived the Algerian community residing in France from positively influencing society.
