Abu Dhabi: “Al Khaleej”
The National Center of Meteorology reported the current situation as a low-pressure system over the Indian coasts. Numerical models indicate a possible tropical cyclone formation northeast of the Arabian Sea near the Indian coasts on October 1, moving towards the central Arabian Sea.
The center explained that the accuracy of information regarding the intensity and path of the tropical system increases after its formation. So far, there is no impact on the country.
Tropical systems undergo many rapid and sudden changes, so the center continuously monitors the situation and updates the public accordingly.
The center forecasted clear to partly cloudy weather, with low clouds appearing in the east, a gradual decrease in temperatures, and humidity during night and morning over some coastal and inland areas, with a chance of fog or light fog. Winds will be northwest to southwest, light to moderate, occasionally active during the day, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25, reaching up to 40 km/h. The sea will be light to moderate waves, occasionally rough in the Arabian Gulf, and light waves in the Sea of Oman.
