The Egyptian national under-20 team continued its training in preparation for traveling to Morocco to face the Moroccan youth team in two friendly matches on August 13 and 15 in Casablanca. These friendlies are part of the preparations for the World Cup, hosted by Chile from September 27 to October 19. The Egyptian Football Association’s board approved the invitation from the Moroccan federation to play these matches. The administrative manager Hamada Anwar stated that arrangements are underway to complete all travel procedures. Egypt’s youth team is in a group with Chile, Japan, and New Zealand at the World Cup. The committee for professional players abroad supported the youth team by adding three new players: Karim Ahmed from Liverpool, Cameron Ismail from Arsenal, and Redwan Hamzawi from Auxerre.
