The referees committee of the African Football Confederation (CAF) announced the refereeing team for the Sudan vs Madagascar match scheduled for Tuesday evening in the semi-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN). The Egyptian duo Mahmoud Naji and Mahmoud Ashour are part of the team, which includes Moroccan referee Mahrez Al-Malki as the main referee, assisted by Jilan Bounjili Nila as first assistant and Joel Wenka Do as second assistant. Egyptian Mahmoud Naji is the fourth referee, Mauritanian Dahan Bida is the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), Egyptian Mahmoud Ashour is the assistant VAR, and Cameroonian Karen Atizambong Fomo is also an assistant VAR.
