The Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Arabic Language, part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation and organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, is participating in the 2025 Frankfurt International Book Fair. This participation represents an active Emirati presence in one of the most prominent cultural and literary gatherings worldwide, as part of the award’s efforts to promote the Arabic language and enhance its global status as a language of civilization, identity, and knowledge.
The Secretary-General of the award, Bilal Al Badour, confirmed that participation in this global cultural event translates the directives of the wise leadership aimed at supporting efforts to advance the Arabic language and strengthen its presence on international platforms.
He stated that the award is keen to build bridges of cultural and intellectual cooperation with various international institutions, noting that the Arabic language, with its rich heritage and deep history, is capable of keeping pace with development, opening up to the world, and contributing to shaping the intellectual and human future.
The award’s pavilion at the fair, held from the 15th to the 19th of this month, is expected to attract a wide attendance of visitors and enthusiasts from around the world. The award team will welcome them and organize guided tours highlighting the award’s development journey, its fields, achievements, and the distinctive initiatives it has launched over the past years.
