Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moti, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, inspected today, Thursday, several streets and squares in the city of Kafr El-Sheikh to monitor the facilities and services provided to the residents. The tour included checking several main and secondary axes to assess cleanliness, lighting, and paving levels, and to ensure the regularity of facilities. The governor also met with a number of citizens, listened to their complaints, requests, and suggestions, and heard some students’ opinions about their academic performance and future aspirations.

The Citizen is the Basis of Development

The Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh affirmed that the citizen is the foundation of development and serving them is a fundamental duty. He stressed confronting all forms of encroachments and obstructions on public street corridors to facilitate traffic movement, directing the removal of obstructions, adherence to organizational lines, street widening, and restoring their civilized appearance. He also emphasized confronting the phenomenon of illegal parking and stopping violating vehicles to ensure traffic flow and discipline.

Improving Public Cleanliness

The governor explained that he directed raising the efficiency of public cleanliness and waste removal, improving green spaces, caring for tree planting, and beautifying spaces between residences. He also ordered reviewing and maintaining public lighting poles and lamps to ensure citizens’ safety, noting that the governorate continuously works to improve service and facilities levels across various sectors.

Direct Communication with Citizens

This comes within the governor’s constant keenness to communicate directly with citizens, identify their problems on the ground, and improve the level of services provided to them in all locations. He confirmed the allocation of two emergency lines (114) and (0473220792) to receive citizens’ complaints and inquiries around the clock.
