Al-Absi also highlighted Dr.

Ayashi’s intellectual dimension and his well-known support for the revolution from its early days, making him one of the most prominent voices supporting creativity and freedom. He added that “this lecture represents an important addition to the Syrian critical journey and enriches the local cultural scene in Aleppo.” Among the attendees, Carol Karkoush expressed appreciation for such events, saying, “These seminars effectively contribute to enhancing community culture and developing the awareness of future generations.” She added that they encourage youth to adopt constructive critical thinking and to care about books, poetry, and literature as essential paths for cultural advancement.

This lecture is part of the ongoing efforts by the Directorate of Culture in Aleppo and its cultural partners to support intellectual and literary movement in the city, providing platforms for dialogue and discussion on contemporary creative and critical issues, with a focus on the role of modern poetry and its reception mechanisms.
