According to the British newspaper The Sun, the American club Inter Miami, owned by English star David Beckham, is considering a major deal to sign Brazilian Neymar Jr., forming an attacking trio with Argentine Lionel Messi and Uruguayan Luis Suárez reminiscent of the famous “MSN” partnership that shone at Barcelona between 2014 and 2017.

The newspaper mentioned that Inter Miami, which already includes Messi and Suárez, seeks to rebuild one of the most prominent attacking lines in modern football history. Messi is the club’s main face and restored his attacking partnership with Suárez in December 2023.

According to The Sun citing the Daily Mail, 33-year-old Neymar was offered to Inter Miami’s management as a potential transfer after his current contract with Brazilian club Santos ends next December. Neymar had returned to his boyhood club earlier this year after terminating his contract with Saudi club Al Hilal, in a stint cut short due to recurring injuries.

The report explained that Neymar’s contract with Santos was extended until the end of 2025, and after it expires, he will be free to negotiate with new clubs. Although no direct talks have taken place yet, the player’s representatives see the move to the American league as a suitable opportunity to enhance his marketing and sporting presence ahead of the upcoming World Cup hosted by the United States.

Meanwhile, Inter Miami is working on renewing Messi and Suárez’s contracts to ensure their sporting stability before considering signing Neymar. The report also indicated that the club is preparing for a period of changes in its squad, with the duo Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets nearing retirement and the possibility of signing Spanish Sergio Reguilón to replace Alba.

The report concludes by noting that the idea of reuniting the trio has received widespread resonance among football fans worldwide, as many see the revival of the Messi, Suárez, and Neymar partnership as one of the most anticipated sports stories in modern football, despite the increasing injuries of Suárez and Neymar.
