Emmanuel Macron, the French President, stated that efforts will be made to deploy a UN force in Gaza and that France will assist in training Palestinian security forces to maintain internal security.
Macron added, in statements reported by Cairo News Channel, that technical teams will begin working on plans to disarm Hamas, and that the Sharm El-Sheikh summit is historic and the phases of the Gaza agreement must be implemented.
It is noteworthy that the city of Sharm El-Sheikh hosted today an international summit co-chaired by Presidents Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Donald Trump, with the participation of leaders from more than 20 countries, under the title “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit,” where the world is betting on peace efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip and enhance stability in the Middle East region.
