The National Elections Authority will hold a press conference at 7 PM today at its headquarters to inform the public about the voting process of Egyptians abroad on the first day of the runoff round for the 2025 Senate elections. The central operations room of the National Elections Authority continues to monitor the opening of polling stations for Egyptian voters abroad. The runoff round is conducted in 136 polling stations across 117 countries worldwide, supervised by diplomatic and consular mission members and directly monitored by the central operations room to facilitate voting and overcome any obstacles. The runoff round for the 2025 Senate elections abroad takes place over two days, Monday and Tuesday, August 25 and 26, covering the constituencies of Gharbia, Ismailia, Beni Suef, Luxor, and New Valley governorates.
