B Presnel Kimpembe’s future with Paris Saint-Germain is nearing its end, as the French defender is close to embarking on a new experience in the Qatar Stars League after his negotiations with Italian club AC Milan stalled.

The French newspaper “L’Équipe” reported that AC Milan showed serious interest in signing Kimpembe in recent days, but the player completely rejected the idea of playing in the Italian league, leading to a final halt in negotiations between the two parties.

With the transfer window still open in Qatar, the closest destination for the French player is one of the Qatari clubs seeking to complete the deal quickly. Reports indicate that an official announcement may be made in the coming days, as Kimpembe desires a new experience outside Europe.

The 29-year-old defender has suffered a sharp decline in appearances since sustaining a serious ankle injury in February 2023. Despite returning to training, he has not gained the trust of coach Luis Enrique, who has excluded him from his main plans at Paris Saint-Germain.

Kimpembe’s current contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs until summer 2026, but his potential departure this summer to the Qatar Stars League may mark the end of his career with the Parisian club, especially after he clearly fell out of the coach’s plans.
