Spanish media reported that the occupation forces released all Spanish activists they had detained as part of the “Global Freedom Flotilla” except for one who bit a Zionist doctor.
In a post on his X platform account, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares announced the release of 27 Spaniards on Monday, after an earlier release of 21 activists.
Albares confirmed: “We will continue to provide diplomatic and consular protection until the last Spaniard is released,” according to Anadolu Agency.
Meanwhile, the occupation police accused a Spanish citizen detained after traveling on the Global Freedom Flotilla of biting a doctor who works as part of the medical staff at Ketziot Prison on Sunday.
Hebrew media reported that the doctor was accompanying the Spanish man as part of a routine medical examination before his deportation on Monday when he was said to have been “bitten.”
The doctor received treatment on site for minor injuries caused by the bite, and the occupation police were called to deal with the “assailant.” It is currently unknown whether legal action will be taken against him.
However, narratives about this case differed on social media, with some mentioning a woman named Reyes Rigo Servilla, in her fifties, who bit a prison guard at her detention center, leading to her detention for another 7 days.
Other pages focused on the same activist, claiming she bit the wife of a prison officer. These accounts remain unconfirmed as they originate from the Zionist occupation sources.
