The Masar women’s club team is preparing to participate in the North Africa Championship qualifying for the CAF Champions League, which will be held in Tunisia next month. The Egyptian team hopes to achieve positive results to qualify for the continent’s premier club competition. Masar’s matches start on September 2, 2025, facing the team ‘Asfar’, which is a real test of the team’s strength and competitiveness. On the second day of the championship, September 5, Masar will face the ‘Association Sportive Féminine de Sousse’ team, a crucial match to determine the team’s path in the tournament, especially after knowing the results of other teams on the first day. Masar’s matches conclude on September 8 against the ‘Afak Relizane’ team, with hopes of achieving a positive result to secure qualification for the CAF Champions League.
This championship is a golden opportunity for Masar to prove its worth on the continental stage and compete with the strongest North African women’s teams. Masar, the Egyptian league champion for two consecutive seasons, participates in the tournament held in the cities of Sousse and Monastir, Tunisia, from August 31 to September 9.
