A delegation from the Ministry of Labor concluded a two-day visit to the Sultanate of Oman aimed at discussing joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries and enhancing coordination in labor fields, alongside discussing the executive cooperation program in labor for 2025-2027. The delegation was headed by Mr. Khamis Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for National Workforce Affairs in the Private Sector, and Mr. Hamad Faraj Dalmouk, Assistant Undersecretary for Expatriate Labor Affairs. The delegation held a series of meetings with officials from Oman’s Ministry of Labor, attended by representatives from various directorates, labor sectors, human resource development, and related professional associations.

The discussions focused on the draft executive cooperation program in labor between Qatar and Oman for 2025-2027, which includes several proposed cooperation areas such as exchanging expertise and specialized studies in labor fields and workforce empowerment, intensifying mutual visits to transfer knowledge and exchange national competencies across sectors. The program also includes cooperation in organizing events, exhibitions, and workshops of common interest, and implementing vocational training programs aimed at developing, qualifying, and integrating national competencies into the labor market.
