The Egyptian Super Cup features clubs: Al Ahly, the reigning Premier League champions, and Zamalek, the Egypt Cup holders. Pyramids FC, the league runners-up, and Ceramica Cleopatra, holders of the Professional Clubs League Cup, also participate.

The hosting of the Egyptian Super Cup in Abu Dhabi is based on a memorandum of understanding signed between the UAE Pro League, the Egyptian Football Association, and United Sports Company, stipulating that the Super Cup will be held in Abu Dhabi.

The first day’s matches will see Zamalek face Pyramids at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, while Al Ahly will meet Ceramica Cleopatra at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain on the same day.

The final match will take place on November 9 at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in a celebratory event where the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup champion will be crowned. Prior to that, the third-place playoff will be held at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Al Ahly has won the Egyptian Super Cup 15 times, making them the most successful club in the competition’s history, while Zamalek ranks second with 4 titles.
