Jurassic World: Rebirth, which lasts 133 minutes and was released on July 2, takes place years after the events of Dominion. It depicts a world tired of dinosaur attraction, where the few remaining humans are nearing extinction. The only thriving area is around the equator where human travel is banned. The story follows a pharmaceutical company that hires covert operations expert Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) to lead an expedition to an isolated island that previously hosted Jurassic Park experiments.

Mahershala Ali plays Duncan, Zora’s team leader, with Jonathan Bailey, Robert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Ed Scrine starring. The mission is to extract dinosaur DNA for the pharmaceutical company represented by Friend’s character.

The film is primarily standalone, with little shared narrative with previous Jurassic World films and no post-credits scenes.
