On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, observed annually on October 10 by the World Health Organization, the “Pride of the Nation” office emphasized that promoting mental health has become an essential necessity no less important than physical health, especially for the frontline heroes who make exceptional sacrifices to protect society and preserve its security and safety.
The office praised the initiatives and events of Mental Health Month launched by the Emirates Health Services Foundation throughout October, considering them a qualitative leap in raising community awareness and consolidating the culture of caring for mental health as an integral part of the public health system.
The office explained that these events contribute to providing innovative preventive and therapeutic tools and support individuals’ psychological and professional stability, positively reflecting on their quality of life and productivity.
The office noted that these national initiatives reflect the vision of the state and its wise leadership in building a more cohesive and balanced society, embodying the UAE’s position as a global model in developing quality services that prioritize the human being first.
