Emirati artist Abdullah Al Bakhair expressed his happiness with the victory achieved by the national team over Oman by two goals to one, the day before yesterday, in the Asian qualifiers playoff for the 2026 World Cup, affirming that the World Cup is strongly flirting with the “White” from the heart of the Qatari capital, Doha.

Al Bakhair told “Emarat Al Youm” that he is proud of the performance of the national team, explaining: “I came to support the team in this decisive match, as the victory was difficult, but it is a good indicator of the White’s closeness to qualifying for the World Cup from the heart of (Doha of Love), after the team played a great match.”

He added: “The match was tough, especially since the Oman team scored an early goal, and their players were very organized in defense, which increased the difficulty of the match for the national team players.”

He continued: “The second half witnessed a clear superiority by the White, and the team deserved the victory, getting very close to an important step towards qualifying for the World Cup.”

He pointed out that the Oman team deserves praise and appreciation, saying: “I hope the Oman team will be lucky in the coming times, as they played a great match, but this is football, there must be a winning team and a losing team.”

Abdullah Al Bakhair addressed a message to the national team players before the upcoming match they will play tomorrow against Qatar, saying: “You are our hope, and we hope you give your all in this decisive match, and achieve the hopes and aspirations of the UAE football fans to qualify for the big event in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, as we have great confidence in your abilities.”

He concluded his statements by saying: “Whatever the identity of the team that wins the qualification ticket to the World Cup, we are happy to be in the Qatari capital Doha, which made us live wonderful days, as football unites peoples, and we wish success to the team that will advance to the World Cup from these qualifiers.”
