Adel Mostafa, the general coach of Al Ahly, confirmed that his team deserved the victory over Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League.

Mostafa said in statements to Al Ahly TV: “I congratulate Al Ahly fans, I am happy with this win because it shows the fans that the players feel their support.”

He added: “No one has fallen short since day one. The players are trying to give their best.”

He explained: “We started working better on what we discussed in the lecture, and began to exploit the details we were targeting.”

He concluded: “The importance of this match lies in restoring the players’ confidence and building on it. The points difference does not concern me because I must win all my matches first and then look at the competitors.”
