Tarek El-Saeed, former star of Zamalek and Al Ahly, confirmed that the administrative crises at Zamalek Club have clearly reflected on the team’s performance and results recently, pointing out a large gap between the instability at the White Castle and the administrative and technical discipline enjoyed by Al Ahly.

El-Saeed said in statements to the program “Al-Match” on Sada El-Balad channel that more than 70% of the current Zamalek players lack the qualifications to represent the team, explaining that the choices of players and the technical staff were below the level required for the club’s ambitions and its fans.

He added that the Belgian coach Yank Ferreira is not the most suitable choice to lead Zamalek at this stage, considering that internal crises and their psychological impact on the players were among the main reasons for the decline in performance and results.

El-Saeed pointed out that the severe financial crisis inside the club prevented the renewal of defender Hossam Abdelmageed’s contract, confirming that the solution lies in urgently restructuring the financial and technical management so that Zamalek can regain its natural position among the top clubs locally and continentally.
