Today, Thursday, star Safaa Abu Al-Saud celebrates her birthday; she was born on October 9. Abu Al-Saud is a star who left a mark on the childhood of the 1980s and 1990s, with her songs for children during childhood celebrations, October victories, and the joyful Eid song, including “Ahlan Bel Eid” with lyrics by poet Abdel Wahab Mohamed and music by Gamal Salama. This song is also considered an icon of the Egyptian Eid and is sung at all Eid celebrations.

Safaa Abu Al-Saud began her artistic career by joining the Conservatory Institute and obtained her diploma in 1967. Later, in 1972, she earned a diploma from the Higher Institute of Cinema, directing department. She participated in many cinematic works in the late 1960s and early 1970s and has many plays and operettas for children.

She also performed more than five plays, including “The Most Beautiful Meeting in the World,” “Our Children in London,” and “Music in the Eastern Neighborhood.” She appeared in over ten TV series, notably “Except a Tear of Sadness,” “The River and the Crocodiles,” “Queen of the South,” “Ghawish Al-Kheezaran,” “Muhammad, the Messenger of God to the World,” “She and the Impossible,” “Tower of Luck,” “Very Annoying Guests,” “There is No God but Allah” (first part), and “The Predators.”
