The Morocco national team will face a fiery clash against the United States tonight at 11 PM in the quarterfinals of the U-20 World Cup currently held in Chile.

Morocco secured its spot in the quarterfinals after defeating South Korea 2-1 in the round of 16, while the United States achieved a convincing 3-0 victory over Italy.

Morocco carries the flag for the African continent in the U-20 World Cup after Egypt was eliminated in the group stage, along with South Africa and Nigeria exiting in the round of 16.

The Moroccan team, currently the only Arab football representative in the U-20 World Cup, aims to replicate the achievement of the 2005 generation that reached the semifinals before losing 0-3 to Nigeria.

Morocco has shown impressive performances in the tournament, defeating Spain and Brazil in the group stage before losing to Mexico. This loss did not affect their top position in the group, and they successfully overcame South Korea in the round of 16.

The U-20 World Cup semifinals will take place on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, with the third-place playoff on Saturday evening, and the final scheduled for Monday morning, October 20.
