Sources involved in the ongoing political and military preparations for the upcoming Cabinet session on Friday, which will “provisionally” discuss and approve the plan prepared by the Army Command to implement the Cabinet decision made on August 5 regarding the exclusivity of weapons in the hands of the state, described most of what was published or circulated in the media about the military plan as anticipatory estimates rather than accurate information, because the plan is confidential and will only be revealed during the session to determine the Cabinet’s position on it.

Nabil Boumonsef wrote: The “Diet” plan… to dismantle the state!
Lebanese experiences since the start of the war in 1975 are full of descriptions and terms that carry traits of settlements, exits, or half-solutions often crafted by the imaginations of politicians and leaders during ceasefires or confused times amid successive crises.
Abdelwahab Badrakhan wrote: The state’s decline is impossible… The ‘Party’s’ submission is inevitable
From the call for dialogue to agree on the “Shiite duo’s” candidate for the presidency, to the call for consensus on keeping the “duo’s weapons” in the hands of their owners despite their illegitimacy. The first dialogue had supporters but did not happen, forcing the “duo” to elect President Joseph Aoun, then accept Nawaf Salam as Prime Minister, neither of whom were their candidates. It seemed a renewed “consensual” state emerged in the country with two main titles: restoring the state and the exclusivity of weapons in its hands.
Radwan Aqil wrote: Lebanon and Syria “drawing” new relations and no visit from Al-Shara soon
The official sides in Lebanon and Syria agreed on “demarcating” relations in all files concerning the two countries and working to develop them with a new vision according to standards different from previous years, especially those shaped by the Assad family over more than half a century with Lebanon. Despite visits by Lebanese prime ministers and officials to Damascus after the transitional government took power, there are no indications or truth to reports that President Ahmad Al-Shara will visit Beirut in the coming weeks.

However, the hidden competition between the Chinese dragon and the Russian bear should not be overlooked.
