Shura Council members and MPs confirmed that the response of companies operating in Bahrain to offer job opportunities through the national employment platform affiliated with the Ministry of Labor reflects a deep understanding of challenges and a genuine will to turn them into opportunities, emphasizing that this broad national response embodies the spirit of partnership and social responsibility.
Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee at the Shura Council, Khalid Al-Masqati, stated that the generous initiative launched by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to create more job opportunities for Bahraini citizens represents a practical embodiment of the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to place the Bahraini citizen at the center of development.
Al-Masqati pointed out that the wide national response from national and foreign companies and institutions operating in the kingdom reflects the spirit of partnership and social responsibility and demonstrates a firm belief in the role of the private sector as a key partner in development. He explained that the responsiveness of these institutions confirms the flexibility of Bahrain’s business environment and its integration with government policies supporting employment and economic growth.
He clarified that Bahrain’s economy possesses the capabilities to continue generating diverse and innovative job opportunities thanks to its stimulating investment environment, supportive legislation, and clear economic vision that prioritizes national competencies. He added that continued constructive cooperation among the government, legislative authority, and private sector remains the main pillar to enhance the competitiveness of the national economy and create a sustainable and prosperous economic environment.

Jalila Al-Sayed, Chairwoman of the Services Committee at the Council of Representatives, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Labor in implementing the directives of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to provide three job opportunities for every job seeker registered with the ministry, emphasizing that this initiative reflects the great interest the leadership places on empowering citizens and qualifying them to join the labor market. She stressed the importance of ensuring that the job opportunities offered are real and that procedures are transparent, both in listing vacancies and in recruitment processes, so that outcomes are tangible and not just numbers or formal interviews.

He affirmed the chamber’s full support for implementing the directives of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister regarding the commitment of private sector companies to provide three job opportunities for every job seeker registered with the Ministry of Labor before the end of this year.
He pointed out that these initiatives represent an encouraging start and confirm that the Bahraini private sector recognizes its national responsibility not only as a partner in economic development but also as a partner in supporting social stability and providing a decent life for Bahraini citizens. Al-Salloum called on all companies, large, medium, and small, to seize this initiative as an opportunity to demonstrate their national commitment and benefit from the qualified and ambitious Bahraini workforce that has proven its competence in various fields.
