Four Palestinians were martyred in an airstrike targeting a house in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, while five others were martyred in Khan Younis. Another video circulated showing the transfer of martyrs and injured to the hospital, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian tragedy experienced by the Gaza Strip residents. Besides Al-Zaytoun, the eastern and southern areas of Gaza City were again subjected to aerial and artillery bombardment. Palestinian sources said that the occupation forces carried out new house demolitions east and south of the city at dawn today, increasing the suffering of the residents and reflecting an escalation of the aggression. Recently, shelling has intensified on Gaza neighborhoods such as Al-Zaytoun and Al-Tuffah, while the Israeli government talks about an upcoming military operation to fully invade Gaza City.
In simultaneous field developments, occupation aircraft carried out heavy airstrikes at dawn today on Khan Younis city and its surroundings in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of five people due to Israeli drones targeting displaced persons’ tents in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis. The central and northern neighborhoods of the city were also subjected to air raids accompanied by artillery shelling, worsening the humanitarian situation. In central Gaza Strip, the western and northern outskirts of Al-Nuseirat camp were subjected to aerial and artillery bombardment. The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that 45 people were martyred yesterday, Monday, by occupation forces’ fire, including 16 of those gathered seeking food at aid centers in the northern sector.
Since the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” took control of aid distribution in May, more than 1,800 Palestinians have been martyred by occupation forces and foreign militants contracted with the American foundation at distribution centers that have turned into “death traps.” Since the resumption of the aggression on Gaza in March, about 10,000 people have been martyred and more than 45,000 injured, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
