National airlines and travel agencies have launched offers for holiday trips to international destinations at competitive prices after the holiday season. These offers apply to flights during the upcoming September and include airfare and hotel accommodation.
Officials from travel agencies stated that the offers primarily aim to boost travel demand after the holiday season with encouraging prices, focusing mostly on relatively nearby tourist destinations and island locations.
The offers are concentrated mainly in September, with package prices currently up to 40% lower than those offered before the summer vacation period. It is emphasized to carefully read the terms and conditions, including cancellation and modification policies and applicable fees.
Holiday packages start from around 1900 AED to relatively nearby destinations in Eastern Europe and Western Asia for three nights, including airfare and hotel stay.
Prices to the Azerbaijani capital Baku start from 1600 AED, about 1800 AED to the Armenian capital Yerevan, 2000 AED to the Uzbek capital Tashkent, and 2100 AED to the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.
Prices to some Southeast Asian destinations start from about 3200 AED, including Bangkok at around 3300 AED for a three-night stay, 3400 AED to Kuala Lumpur, and island packages to Langkawi starting from 3000 AED.
Island destination packages reach around 3800 AED including the Maldives, Seychelles, and Mauritius. European packages for three nights include Athens at about 2500 AED, Krakow at 2900 AED, and Milan at 3100 AED.
All packages include economy class airfare and accommodation in three- and four-star hotels for three nights, with prices varying by destination and hotel category.
Some packages also include services such as sightseeing tours and airport transfers. Bookings are currently open for travel throughout September, with some offers extending until mid-October 2025.
Yassin Diab, General Manager of Al Faisal Travel and Tourism Agency, said airlines aim to stimulate travel demand after the holiday season by offering competitive prices covering airfare and hotel stays, focusing on nearby and island destinations for short holidays.
Dr. Haitham Al-Haj Ali, CEO of Dubai Link Group, noted that airlines and travel agencies have recently launched offers covering dozens of tourist destinations mainly in September, with some extending to mid-October. He advised early booking and flexible dates to maximize benefits and avoid losses, especially since weekend flights are usually more expensive than weekdays.
He also mentioned the high travel frequency among UAE residents and their interest in taking advantage of such offers, especially special deals.
