The Zamalek youth football team born in 2005 defeated Ceramica Cleopatra 4-0 in the match held on Monday evening at Ceramica’s home stadium, in the first round of the Second Team League.
The goals for Zamalek were scored by Ahmed Khaled El-Sambouk, Anas Wael, El-Sayed Osama, and Salah Mahmoud.
Zamalek players dominated the match from the start and created many chances. El-Sambouk scored the first goal in the 22nd minute, followed by Anas Wael who scored the second goal from a penalty kick in the 26th minute, ending the first half with a 2-0 lead for Zamalek.
In the second half, Zamalek continued to press Ceramica Cleopatra, with El-Sayed Osama scoring the third goal in the 59th minute. The pressure continued and Salah Mahmoud scored the fourth goal in the 90th minute, concluding the match with this result.
The match was attended by Badr Hamed, Head of Football Sectors at Zamalek Club, who congratulated the players and coaching staff on the first win and earning three points, urging them to stay focused and work hard to achieve the goal of winning the championship.
The technical staff of the 2005 team consists of Mamdouh Abdel Hay as coach, Mohamed Omar as assistant coach, Ahmed Abdel Aziz “Box” as goalkeepers coach, Mohamed Al-Atreby “Turbo” as performance analyst, Hamdy Youssef as administrator, Yassin Ghoneim as rehabilitation and injuries specialist, and Rifaat Hamdy as missions officer.
