The 2025 Hurun Rich List in India revealed the top Bollywood icons who not only dominate the box office but also rule the business world.
“King of Bollywood” Shah Rukh Khan topped the list for the first time after his wealth surged beyond one billion dollars.
1- Shah Rukh Khan: $1.4 Billion
Shah Rukh Khan officially entered the billionaires club with an estimated net worth of around $1.4 billion. His cinematic empire extends through his company Red Chillies Entertainment, which operates in production, distribution, visual effects, and digital content.
He also owns a stake in the cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders, alongside dozens of commercial endorsements that boost his market value, making him the richest film star in India.
2- Juhi Chawla: $880 Million
The beloved 90s star Juhi Chawla ranked second with a fortune of approximately $880 million.
Her wealth, shared with her businessman husband Jay Mehta, heavily relies on their stake in Knight Riders Sports, along with diverse investments that strengthened her presence in the financial world beyond the screen.
3- Hrithik Roshan: $240 Million
The handsome star Hrithik Roshan came third with a fortune reaching $240 million.
Besides his cinematic successes, he founded the sports brand HRX, which became a leader in the sportswear market, in addition to lucrative advertising deals and new production projects.
4- Karan Johar: $210 Million
The famous director and producer Karan Johar ranked fourth with a fortune close to $210 million. His company Dharma Productions remains one of the strongest production houses in India, and he has expanded his activities into digital platforms, TV shows, and fashion, making him one of Bollywood’s most successful creative entrepreneurs.
5- Amitabh Bachchan and Family: $180 Million
The legend Amitabh Bachchan and his family maintained their presence on the rich list with a fortune of $180 million.
Their financial strength comes from smart investments across various sectors, alongside ongoing advertising and media projects.
Even at 82 years old, “Big B” remains a symbol of influence and commercial dominance.
