Sports broadcaster Seif Zaher revealed that Ahmed Mostafa Zizo is not in Al Ahly’s plans for tomorrow’s summit match against Zamalek, scheduled for 8 PM on Monday in the ninth round of the league.
Zaher stated on the ‘Malab On’ program aired on On Sport channel that Zizo will not play in the summit match tomorrow. Although he wishes to participate with his team, the coaching staff believes it is better not to risk the player to avoid worsening the injury he suffered recently, a groin muscle strain.
Zizo participated in the team’s group training and did not complain of any pain, but it was decided not to risk him playing in the match.
Al Ahly currently ranks eighth in the Egyptian Premier League table with 12 points from 7 matches, having won 3 matches, drawn 3, and lost 1. Meanwhile, Zamalek leads the league with 17 points from 8 matches.
