Cairo, September 3 /BNA/ His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt share strong strategic relations and solid fraternal bonds based on a long history of brotherhood and close cooperation. These relations continue to grow and prosper on all levels under the care and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, aiming to achieve shared visions and aspirations that benefit and advance both countries and their peoples.

This came during His Highness’s meeting with his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as part of the official visit His Highness is making to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed His Majesty the King’s greetings to the President and his wishes for further progress and prosperity for Egypt, while the President entrusted him to convey his greetings to His Majesty the King and his wishes for continued growth and progress for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the meeting, His Highness praised the progress and growth witnessed in Bahraini-Egyptian relations across various fields, thanks to the joint agreements and effective partnerships between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of building on the achieved cooperation and joint coordination to continue advancing bilateral relations to higher levels and promising opportunities that realize shared aspirations and goals.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted Egypt’s pivotal role in consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the region, supporting the Arab joint action, Arab causes, and its honorable stances towards the Kingdom of Bahrain. He praised the developmental achievements Egypt continues to make under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, expressing his wishes for Egypt and its brotherly people to enjoy continued prosperity and advancement.

His Highness pointed out the importance of the agreements and declarations to be made during this visit, which will open new horizons for bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries and strengthen their solid partnership, propelling it towards more advanced horizons.

The meeting also reviewed ways to develop bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries, discussed the latest regional and international developments, and topics of common interest, affirming joint support for all efforts aimed at enhancing international peace and stability.
