Manama, September 3 /BNA/ Her Excellency Mrs. Reham Abdel Hamid Khalil, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirmed that the ties between Bahrain and Egypt transcend geographical boundaries to a broader space of sincere brotherhood and shared destiny, noting that Egyptian-Bahraini relations are witnessing new chapters added to their record full of achievements and honorable positions.

She pointed out that the relations between the two countries, which span many decades, embody a distinguished model of Arab unity based on mutual respect, trust, cooperation, and solidarity, stressing that this deep-rooted legacy is not a product of the moment but stems from extended human and popular bonds based on brotherhood and shared destiny.

The Ambassador also emphasized that any discussion about Egyptian-Bahraini relations would be incomplete without highlighting the pivotal role of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect and preserve him, and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. She explained that the efforts of these two leaders represent the fundamental pillar and the true guarantee for the continued growth of bilateral relations, reflecting their keenness to enhance the course of joint Arab action.

She noted that the important visit by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Arab Republic of Egypt represents a pivotal addition to the rich bilateral relations between Cairo and Manama, focusing on intensifying cooperation in economic and trade fields, which strengthens partnership and allows benefiting from promising opportunities in energy, industry, tourism, logistics, and financial services. She pointed out that the private sector in both countries is an important lever to support joint economic growth.

In this context, the Ambassador clarified that the visit witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding for joint cooperation and the launch of economic initiatives, all aimed at pushing forward and enhancing the path of economic and developmental partnership between the two brotherly countries.

She stressed that the current challenges in the region can only be confronted through unity of word and concerted efforts, affirming that the Arab Republic of Egypt is always keen on continuous coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the brotherly Arab countries in various regional and international forums, defending Arab causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, and supporting stability in the region.

The Ambassador concluded her statement by affirming that relations between the two brotherly countries will remain a model of sincere brotherhood and joint Arab action, stressing that Egypt, leadership and people, regards Bahrain as a dear country and a key partner in efforts to achieve stability in the region, affirming that history will remain a witness to the bright path of distinguished relations between the two countries, the present is evidence of the strength of ties, and the future promises more joint achievements.
