The Qatar Embassy in Cairo expressed its gratitude to the Egyptian authorities for their cooperation and attention in following up on the Sharm El-Sheikh accident and providing the necessary facilitation.

Sharm El-Sheikh recently witnessed a tragic traffic accident that resulted in the death of 3 Qatari diplomats and injuries to two others in unstable condition, and one in stable condition.

The accident occurred 40 kilometers before Sharm El-Sheikh due to loss of control of the vehicle’s steering wheel.

The injured were immediately transferred to Sharm El-Sheikh International Hospital to receive necessary medical care, while Egyptian authorities began investigations to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident.
