The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, condemned Israel’s escalation of a genocidal war and horrific massacres against Palestinian civilians in Gaza. He denounced the systematic targeting of journalists, medical, and relief teams, alongside the deliberate starvation that has claimed many innocent lives. Al-Yamahi warned that continued escalation would lead to increased tension and threaten international peace and security. He called on the United Nations, the European Union, the International Federation of Journalists, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities by pressuring Israel to halt the escalation, end the war, and agree to a ceasefire and calm deal. He also urged the immediate suspension of Israel from all international organizations and unions for violating international principles and laws, demanding comprehensive economic, political, and military sanctions on Israeli leaders.
Furthermore, he called for urgent action by the International Criminal Court to prosecute those responsible for these crimes as war criminals under the genocide file.
