The Hamas movement welcomed the statements of U.S. President Donald Trump, who clearly confirmed the end of the Israeli war on Gaza.
Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said in a statement on Saturday that the movement welcomes Trump’s statements, calling on mediators and international parties to continue monitoring the behavior of the occupation and ensure that its aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip does not resume.
Earlier today, U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the end of the war on the Gaza Strip.
After his presidential plane landed at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, Trump said the war in Gaza was over, noting that everyone wants to be part of the peace process being implemented following the signing of the ceasefire agreement.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Channel 12 quoted Netanyahu as saying the war was over, referring to the ceasefire agreement and prisoner exchange reached with Hamas.
