The Hamada Sports Club announced its participation in the Czech International Racketlon Championship, which will be held in the Czech capital Prague from the 24th to the 26th of this month, with players from more than 20 countries around the world participating.

Hamada Club’s participation in this international championship, accredited by the International Racketlon Federation, comes as part of its plans to enhance the presence of Jordanian sports on the global stage and enable its players to compete in officially recognized tournaments that contribute to developing their skills and raising their international rankings.

The team enjoys continuous support from Hamada Restaurants Group, which is committed to supporting national sports and empowering ambitious Jordanian youth, serving as the sports arm of the group.

Racketlon is one of the most diverse and inclusive sports in the world, combining four different racket sports: table tennis, badminton, squash, and tennis, in a single competition that highlights the player’s overall abilities in terms of speed, accuracy, control, endurance, and tactical intelligence.

In this context, Raed Hamada, Vice President of Hamada Sports Club, said: “We are proud to be among the first Arab clubs to participate in an official international racketlon championship, and we view this participation as a qualitative step reflecting our ambition to support modern sports that combine fun, challenge, and mental and physical fitness.”

He added that the club seeks through this participation to represent Jordan honorably and showcase the great capabilities of Jordanian athletes in various sports, noting that “Hamada Club always strives to invest in young talents and open new horizons for them in non-traditional sports fields.”

He confirmed that the team’s participation in the Czech championship aligns with the club’s vision to support innovation and sports diversity, explaining that racketlon represents a promising future for composite sports that test the player’s comprehensive skills.

Meanwhile, team captain Hamza Mareesh expressed his pride in participating in a world-class championship, affirming that “participating in this championship represents a golden opportunity to test our abilities against elite racketlon players worldwide.”

Mareesh added: “We have prepared well for this championship through an intensive training program covering physical, tactical, and psychological aspects, and we work as one team to represent the club and Jordan in the best possible way.”

He pointed out that Hamada Club players look forward to achieving distinguished results that contribute to enhancing their international ranking, praising the great support provided by the club’s board of directors and the technical and administrative staff to meet all the requirements for successful participation.

Assistant team captain Nesreen Hamada expressed her pride in participating in the Czech championship, confirming that “competing at this international level gives us the opportunity to showcase our skills and represent Jordan in the best possible way.”

She added that she has participated in several previous regional and international championships, achieving advanced ranks that enabled her to gain extensive experience in the various racket sports included in racketlon.

Racketlon is a rapidly growing sport globally, with official championships held in more than 25 countries, combining high physical performance and mental focus in a unique experience that merges competition and sportsmanship.
