The Democratic Generation Party in Alexandria held a meeting with party leaders and public figures interested in running under the party’s banner in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The meeting, attended by Omar Awad, the party secretary in Alexandria, and Reda Hammouri, the party secretary in Beheira, focused on candidacy mechanisms, candidate selection criteria, and the party’s strategy to strengthen its candidates’ chances across various constituencies. Awad emphasized that the party’s election committee has begun reviewing all candidacy applications, prioritizing candidates with competence, integrity, a real popular base, and the ability to offer practical solutions to societal challenges. The party aims not just for formal participation but to promote strong candidates capable of making a real impact in parliament. The meeting also included coordination with Beheira party leaders, reflecting a unified team spirit and a comprehensive electoral map covering multiple governorates.
The party plans field tours and public visits to introduce candidates and political programs, fully adhering to electoral laws and the National Election Authority’s regulations.
